Grown from our smallest vineyard block ‘Doma’— roughly 700 vines of high quality Merlot and Barbera. The vineyard was picked by hand, with low harvest yields between 1-1.2 kg of fruit/vine. The grapes were destemmed, crushed, and the juice was left in contact with the skins for 7 days at ambient temperatures. The wine was barrel fermented spontaneously via pied-de-cuve, and matured 12 months in large oak barrels with bâtonnage. Unfiltered prior to bottling. Certified organic.
